With a total loading capacity of 7,000 tonnes and blast freezing capability of 72–100 tonnes per day, Summit Cold Storage gives our OEM partners the cold chain assurance their supply chains demand.

Blast Freezing at −40°C
Rapidly freeze products at −40°C within 6–8 hours. Our blast freezer handles 72–100 tonnes per day, extending shelf life and minimising microbial growth before transfer to AS/RS storage.
Automated Storage & Retrieval (AS/RS)
Automated cranes and shuttle vehicles store and retrieve pallets at −18°C with 7,000 tonne capacity. Real-time computer control ensures FIFO/FEFO stock rotation and precise inventory management.
Repacking & Value-Added Services
Repackage products into bags or cartons with custom labels as required — adding value at the cold storage stage before distribution.

Why AS/RS Changes Everything
Conventional cold storage relies on forklifts and staff working in sub-zero environments — slow, costly, and prone to human error. AS/RS eliminates this entirely. Robotic cranes operate continuously in the cold zone, guided by real-time computer control, with no requirement for lighting or door opening between operations.
AS/RS effectively uses vertical space of a smaller area compared to conventional warehouses — reducing ongoing refrigeration energy and the impact of thermal transfer, resulting in significantly less energy consumption.
