When a global food brand chooses TSM as their OEM manufacturer, they’re not just buying production capacity — they’re buying a verified, audited, internationally recognised food safety system. This article walks through the certifications we hold, why they matter, and how they translate into safer products for end consumers.

Why Food Safety Certification Matters
Food safety isn’t a marketing checkbox — it’s a supply chain guarantee. When you see a TSM certification, it means an independent third-party auditor has verified that our processes, our facilities, our raw material sourcing, and our staff training all meet the required standard. It means a real person walked through our factory and signed off.
GMP — The Foundation
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is the baseline standard for any serious food manufacturer. Our GMP certification from Thailand’s Food and Drug Administration covers facility design, personal hygiene, raw material handling, equipment sanitation, and documentation. GMP audits are conducted annually and include unannounced inspections.
HACCP — Identifying Risk Before It Happens
HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a proactive food safety system. Rather than testing finished products for problems, HACCP maps every step of the production process, identifies potential hazards (biological, chemical, physical), and establishes control points to prevent those hazards before they occur.
HACCP isn’t about reacting to problems — it’s about preventing them. Every critical control point in our facility is monitored in real time.
BRCGS Grade A — The World’s Most Rigorous Food Safety Standard
BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standards) is widely regarded as the most demanding third-party food safety certification in the world. Achieving Grade A — the highest possible rating — means our facility, documentation, personnel competency, and product integrity have all been independently verified to exceed the benchmark set by major global retail buyers.
An audit day at TSM begins with a full opening meeting attended by our entire quality management team. The auditor then conducts a facility walkthrough covering production areas, cold storage, the QC laboratory, and packaging lines — before concluding with a detailed review of our HACCP plans, internal audit logs, and supplier approval records.
Halal Certification — Serving Muslim Markets Worldwide
Our Halal certification from the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand covers the full production process — from raw material intake through processing, packaging, and storage. This certification is renewed annually and is a key requirement for our export markets across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
ISO 22000 — System-Level Food Safety Management
ISO 22000 integrates the principles of HACCP with the system management framework of ISO standards. It requires us to identify food safety hazards, control them through a food safety management system, and continually improve that system through internal audits, management reviews, and corrective actions.
